Program : Extended Care

To accommodate various family schedules, the school offers early morning and afternoon care. Extended Care begins at 7:00 a.m. and runs as late as 5:30 p.m. Children may stay for any portion of that time; the schedule may vary. Parents let the business office know their schedule for the year.

Before Care consists of quiet reading time, or, for Preschool students, gently structured play time. After Care for Middle School students is study hall time. Lower School students in After Care have a snack and have some play time as well as homework time. Preschool students have lunch (brought from home), naptime, a snack, outside time, and gently structured play activities.

For occasional needs or emergencies families will be billed at an hourly rate of $5.00 per hour.

The rates for the 2006-2007 year are as follows. (Like tuition, Extended Care is billed monthly or may be paid in advance.)

If a family’s needs are for a short time each day only or for only certain days of the week, the Business Office will provide a monthly cost based on the needs, provided space is available.
